There are lots of staffing agencies out there. Some good, some bad. Similarly named, and, according to recent LinkedIn data, largely comprised of ex-employees of each other, they are hard to tell apart.
Work Evolved: a whole different story.
The investors in Work Evolved are hands-off about staffing, but hands on about fiscal conservativism and business process. The people who run Work Evolved's staffing business are experienced, helpful, media-savvy and delighted with every opportunity, big or small.
And none of us come from other staffing agencies.
At Work Evolved, technology is gracefully applied only where it facilitates process, candidates are vetted by Advocates who understand them, and the pricing is inherently fair; haggling is unnecessary.
Leading the way are:
Raised in the family ad agency, Rich has a genetic predisposition towards brand integrity and focused messaging. His family is shot through with creative talent - his father was a creative director, his brother and cousins are TV/movie writers, and his mother was a media planner (yes, that takes a lot of creative thinking!)
He fell into (and in love with) staffing in 1993, when he was hired by one of the largest creative staffing firms on the planet. In 1996, he started Seven Staffing, which became quickly known for its super-knowledgable recruiters, service ethic, and 24-hour availability. Acquired in 2000, Seven Staffing eventually
became the creative arm of Kelly Services.
He later launched Canine Creative Staffing and its cousin, Choice Creative.
Work Evolved is the culmination of his desire to maintain the highest levels of specialization and service while partnering with people who know lots of things he doesn't.
You can reach him via email, AIM, and Skype.
Returning to Work Evolved after two years traveling in the US and Europe, Palmer has worked as a freelance web designer, written screenplays, illustrated for print, and acted as webmaster, database renovator, and IT support in various positions. She is a geek, and a good one, using a mind both analytical and aesthetic to filter the great from the good.
Thoughtful typography makes her heart glow, commanding copy makes her weak in the knees, and an urgent job opening sets her pulse to racing. She's also moved twenty-two times, making her final landing here a testament to her appreciation for the industry and this agency.
